Volunteer of the Month

Stephanie Raszewski

March 2025

The CES PTO is excited to honor Samantha Raszewski as our Volunteer of the Month! Samantha has been an amazing addition to the hospitality team. Not only is she always willing to pitch in and lend a hand, but she’s also creative, thoughtful, and dedicated to showing the CES staff how much they are appreciated. Most recently, she took the lead on coordinating with the “All Fired Up” food truck for our Valentines Luncheon. It went off without a hitch thanks to her hard work and attention to detail. A huge thank you to Samantha for all her efforts in making these events run smoothly!

Staff Spotlight

Mrs. Burger

For our fifth CES Staff Spotlight, we recognize Becca Burger. Becca is a beloved member of the First Grade team and a valued part of our community.  She is an experienced teacher who delivers expert instruction to a wide range of learners, challenging students at all levels while providing support and encouragement.  Her classroom is a vibrant, welcoming community, making it no surprise that students are so eager to work with her.  She has long been a part of the Central Elementary School community, with all of her children being CES students or alumni, and she serves on several committees and acts as a leader among the staff.  This month, Ms. Burger will be especially busy, as she is the primary staff organizer for the PTO’s popular and successful “Spring Swish” Basketball game!
